花粉管为什么能准确的朝向胚珠生长?7次跨膜蛋白MLO,在花粉管中富集表达,会不会与花粉管定向生长有关呢?本研究以MLO5为诱饵,通过膜体系酵母双杂交筛选验证发现, MLO5与 VAMP721、VAMP722 结合以靶向调控CNGC18 在质膜上的定位,进而影响花粉管转向时局部胞质内Ca2+浓度,控制花粉管向胚囊定向生长。
